The New Santa Fe Trail runs along the western side of the Colorado Springs area parallel with the Rampart Range. Check out the New Santa Fe Trail Page to see some of the views available from the trail.

Grand Lake

Just outside the Southern Entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park sits the small town of Grand lake, Colorado. Within this quaint little town is Point Park, a perfect place to catch a morning sunrise as seen on the Grand Lake page.

Star Trails Over the RMNP

Spent an evening at the Rocky Mountain National Park on the 26th of October. It was a crisp evening with a moon at about 38%, so not too bright but definitely not dark. I was alone in the park. It was pure quiet, minus the Elk that were at the tail end of their rut; awesome to hear them all night long.
