Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway through Monument, CO |

Was taking a few pictures of the Cattails and Red-winged Blackbirds down at a bog near my home when this train came rolling by. Thought I'd snap a few photos of it as it passed hoping to catch it blocking out the sun. Never quite got the shot I wanted, but now have another goal. |

The Burlington Northern Satna Fe Railway rolls through Monument, CO. Luckily, the trains pass through rather quietly. A slight rumble can be heard as they pass, but haven't heard any horns as they cross intersections. I can only imagine this would not be the case should they ever need to blow the horn. Hope that day never comes! |
