Sunrise Over Grand Lake |
While visiting the southern end of the Rocky Mountain National Park, be sure to visit the town of Grand Lake.
Nestled within the town is Point Park, an awesome spot for sunrise viewing!

Icy Railing |
This particular morning was quite crisp as can be seen by the frost, scratch that - the ice crystals forming along the railing of the pier at Point Park.

Frosty Grand Lake |
During this sunrise at the park, no view was anything but beautiful. Here, I am perched behind a frosty evergreen, using it to block out the morning sunrise, while peering down a fence-line made of timber and looking out over the lake.

Perfect Morning |
Further on down the lake, outside of the park, I found a couple fishermen enjoying the beautiful morning. At this point, catching fish would merely be a bonus!

Rowing Through the Fog |
Even further on down the lake, I found these boaters rowing their way through the fog. It was neat seeing the go from invisible, to slowly appearing out of the fog, and finally to a beach landing.
