Journeys Of The Crew is an up and coming book series that follows the adventures of three close friends, Tommy Nash, Nate Bowings and Adam Jenkins who, collectively, call themselves "The Crew." The characters are purely fictional, but their adventures are based off of actual adventures that my friends and myself have actually been on.
Meant to engage and encourage the youth reader in all things outdoors, the JOC series steps The Crew through many of the different aspects of Backpacking, Hiking, Camping and all in-between.
Along with assistance from Tommy's dad, The Crew often refers to a "How-To" guide that Tommy owns. The reader will also be able to own the guide and follow along with The Crew as they refer to it in certain circumstances. In it will be detailed guidance, written in journal format, by a fictional character as he reflects on his travels in the wild.
